What it is: A developer credential covering the programmatic capabilities used to build custom business logic and interfaces on the Salesforce Platform.
Who it is for: Developers with experience building, testing, and deploying business logic and user interfaces using Flow, Lightning components, Apex, and Visualforce.
Questions: 60 multiple-choice questions, plus up to five unscored questions
Duration: 105 minutes
Cost: US$200 plus applicable taxes; the retake fee is US$100 plus applicable taxes
Passing score: 68%
Domains and weights: Developer Fundamentals 27%; Process Automation and Logic 28%; User Interface 25%; Testing, Debugging, and Deployment 20%.
Recommended background: There is no prerequisite. Salesforce describes candidates as generally having one to two years of developer experience and at least six months on the Salesforce Platform.
