This Privacy Policy explains how Velza Training & Consulting (“Velza,” “Velza Academy,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our sites, enroll in a live cohort, or contact us. By using our services you agree to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with service providers who help us operate, such as our payment processor (Stripe), our video and webinar provider (Zoom), and our email, analytics and advertising providers (including Google and Meta), and only as needed for the purposes in this policy. We may also disclose information if required by law or in connection with a business transfer.
Live sessions are recorded and shared with enrolled participants as replays. By attending a live session, you consent to being recorded. If you prefer not to appear on camera or in audio, you may keep your camera off and participate through chat.
We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, to understand how it is used, and to measure our advertising.
Analytics. We use StatCounter and Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits, and Google Analytics to understand which pages people view and how they arrived, including which ad or campaign link they clicked. Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga to tell one browser from another.
Advertising. We use Google Ads and the Meta Pixel (Meta is the company behind Facebook and Instagram) to measure whether our ads lead to visits and sign-ups, and to show our ads to people who have visited our site. These tools can set cookies such as _gcl_au (Google) and _fbp and _fbc (Meta), and they receive information such as the page you viewed, the link you arrived from, ad click identifiers in that link, your IP address and your browser type. When you ask for a free scorecard, we tell Google and Meta that a sign-up happened and which scorecard it was. We do not send them your name, your email address or your scorecard answers.
Your choices. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, these analytics and advertising tools stay off until you click Accept, and they stay off if you click Reject. Everyone else can turn them off at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of each page. Your choice is saved in a cookie named vz_consent. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings.
Some pages never load Google or Meta tools: study tools that work on your own computer, and the page shown after you enroll.

Velza uses YouTube API Services to upload Velza’s own educational videos to Velza’s YouTube channel. When the Velza channel owner signs in with Google, we receive permission to upload videos to that channel (the youtube.upload permission). We store one sign-in credential (an OAuth refresh token) so we can upload approved videos. We do not access, collect, store or share any other YouTube or Google account data, and we do not use this access for anyone other than Velza’s own channel. By using YouTube features, you are also subject to the Google Privacy Policy. In addition to our normal process of deleting stored data on request, you can revoke Velza’s access at any time through the Google security settings page. Questions or complaints: [email protected].
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, after which we delete or de-identify it.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in those emails. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us at the address below, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal information on the following legal bases: to perform our contract with you (delivering the cohort you enrolled in and providing support); for our legitimate interests (operating, improving, and securing our services); to comply with legal obligations; and with your consent where required, such as for certain marketing. We use Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel only with your consent, which you give or refuse in the cookie banner and can change at any time through Cookie settings. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the right to access your personal information; to have it corrected or deleted; to restrict or object to its processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.
We are based in the United States, and we and our service providers may process your personal information in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for these international transfers.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request its deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money. Our use of Google and Meta advertising tools may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of each page. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
