When you work with Velza LLC, you're working with a team that's proven its capabilities time and time again.

A common question I get is regarding the name of our company, Velza.

The name Velza has been important to me all my life, because it was the name of my late-father, Velza Wheeler.

It was an unusual and rare name, and back in 2006, I bought the domain name Velza.com.

I had hoped to one day do something with that domain and hoped to make Velza a well-known name somehow.

My father gradually succumbed to Alzheimers and passed away on December 2, 2019.

The morning of his funeral on December 7, 2019, I wrote a tribute to my father on LinkedIn, which you can find here:

For several years after his death, I set the domain name of Velza.com to redirect to that tribute article on LinkedIn.

And in the years that have passed since then, I have grown in my appreciation and respect for who my father was.

Many of my children are now grown, married, and parents themselves. Whereas when I wrote the tribute to my father just under five years ago, we were days away from greeting our first grandson, we now have a total of four amazing grandsons.

And in that time, my sons have grown in stature and abilities that far exceed that of my own. In running an online training business and working alongside my talented wife and sons, I recognized that we sit in a unique point in history.

With the dawning of the AI era and the coming rise of AI agents, I felt that we as a family were uniquely positioned to help organizations to transform and revolutionize their businesses.

As we walked out forming a business earlier this year to provide Salesforce consulting and implementation services, it was obvious that this family business should be called Velza.

I have owned the domain name for 18 years and it seemed more than fitting that the birth of this new company be a testament to its namesake. My hope is that we can carry on in those same footsteps and example set forth by my father - a legacy of kindness and here to help.

Simply put - we are doers and we get things done.

And then we move on to the next challenge.

Too many Salesforce implementations fail and are overpriced and under-delivered.

Here at Velza, we offer a different approach.

Our focus is the same that I have kept as my central focus all these years of online training - placing your needs first.
